St. John's School Field Trips: Experiential Learning Across All Grades

Our students recently enjoyed a series of educational excursions designed to bring their classroom lessons to life.

  • LKG, UKG, & Grade 1: Our youngest learners visited Rangoli Gardens for a day of hands-on fun. Activities like horseback riding, a magical performance, and a village tour offered them a joyful introduction to rural life and cultural traditions, culminating in a celebratory dance party.

  • Grades 2 & 3: Students explored the mysteries of the universe at the planetarium with a captivating show on the solar system. Their journey into discovery continued at the Visvesvaraya Science Museum, where interactive exhibits made principles of science and technology engaging and accessible.

  • Grades 4 & 5: This trip to the planetarium and science museum was an adventure in wonder. The students were enthralled by the cosmic display and then energized by the museum's hands-on experiments, which transformed complex concepts into exciting, tangible experiences.

  • Grades 6 & 7: Learning was connected to culture and craftsmanship during a visit to Janapada Loka. Students admired exhibits that fused art with sustainability and gained practical insight into traditional doll-making at a local factory, deepening their appreciation for local arts and industries.

These trips provided unforgettable, hands-on learning that sparked curiosity and created lasting memories for all our students.
